Questions: Why do wars happen, and what causes people want to begin wars? How come some people don't care about major global issues such as world hunger, war, poverty, and climate change?

  1. I think most people might not want to stick up for what they think or that they assume someone else can take care of the problem so they don't have to.

  2. I think wars are started because people can't just take a little extra tim, maybe just an hour to fix an issue. Since poeple can't do this, war occurs. Global issues may not cared about due to other issues other people have and may not care about global issues.

  3. u know why? because boys like guns. lol just kidding. i think it's partially what trenton said. but they probably do sit down and talk about the issues multiple times. but there are so many pros and cons and so many people with their own opinions that we have to play a game and see who wins. (mataphor to fighting in wars)

  4. war is started from a simple arguement, usually over religion. So they decide that the best way to "please" their diety, who usually love everyone, is to blow everything up. Everything. And global issues are ignored because the people with power have "more important" things to worry about.

  6. Good point i don't see why they can't just have like a arm wrestling match to see who wins and then that would be it. it would be a lot more simple and no one would get killed. But then the leader of the country would have less power and that's what they want.
