Question of the Week

Why do we as Americans spends so much on Christmas presents and decorations when a child dies of a preventable disease caused by unclean water every fifteen seconds? It is such a simple and easy problem to solve, and yet it seems that nobody cares. (sorry if someones already asked this) Our church has been talking about giving more and spending less. Why spend your money on that ugly sweater that uncle bob probably won't like? I'll try to attach the video from the Advent Conspiracy- it better grasps the theory I attempted to explain above.

  1. I think its somthing thats almost surreal to us. We don't really think about it or really understand how serious it is. It doesn't really cross your mind when your buying uncle bob that ugly sweater.
